What is paint correction?
Machine polishing that removes defects from your clear coat rather than filling them in. Swirls, wash marring and light scratches are physically leveled out, which is why the result is permanent instead of washing off in a month like a glaze.
Will it remove all my scratches?
Anything you can catch a fingernail in is through the clear coat and can't be polished out safely. Everything shallower usually can. How much comes out depends on how deep they are and how much clear coat there is to work with — which is what the inspection determines.
What is the difference between Polish + Ceramic and Paint Correction + Ceramic?
Both finish with a ceramic coating. Polish + Ceramic is a one-step correction starting at $900 — a big improvement on paint in reasonable shape. Paint Correction + Ceramic is multi-stage, starting at $1,500, for paint with deeper defects that a single pass will not clear. The inspection tells you which one your car actually needs.
Does correction damage my paint?
Done properly, no — but it removes a measured amount of clear coat, which is finite. We gauge paint depth panel by panel before cutting. That's the difference between correction and a cheap buff.
